Your sweet dog comes in from the backyard and is covered with blood from head to tail with blood-what can you do? Alternately, perhaps you walk in the house after working all day and your dog is lying on the floor panting and bleeding. What can you do?

The first thing you need to do is try to keep your dog quiet and motionless. You need to determine what is causing the bleeding so get a clean cloth or towel and look for the location of the injury.
