Obama’s Girls to get New Puppy!
President-elect Barrack Obama’s first press conference occurred the day the country lost more jobs, it started a half hour late, and the topic was generally the depressed economy. Obama looked weary and slipped occasionally back into campaign standardized text when talking about the vital issues he’ll have to deal with the moment he’s sworn in. As he told us, time and again, “there’s only one President at a time.” Although with one question from Chicago reporter Lynn Sweet, Obama instantly won over the audience, and America. He’s getting a puppy for his little girls! “With respect to the dog,” President-elect Obama said, “this is a major issue.” Sliding into straight-faced simulated seriousness, Obama talked about the root of the trouble—the dog must be a hypoallergenic breed, but they desired to rescue a shelter dog. “Obviously,” Obama said, “a lot of shelter dogs are mutts, like me.”
Out of my five dogs, four of them are rescue pups and I feel very strongly that the Obama’s puppy should be rescued rather than purchased from a pet store, puppy mill or breeder. We have so many dogs that are in need of a good home and most, if they are not rescued within a certain time, will be put to death. By the new president-elect obtaining that new puppy from a rescue, he will show the country the right way to adopt new pets.

I beg to differ in your response to the purchase of the new puppy.
We offer puppies to become guide dogs.This is a donation.. this process is taken very seriously and the puppies go to the training school at a very young age. We breed for the good temperment. We also offer puppies to people who would like a family pet and have a waiting list.
I believe there are problems that arise… such as a house fire and if someone is moved into a shelter so then is their dog. I tell all of my pet owners they should bring the Standard poodle back to me if something like this should happen or if for any reason they just cannot care for the poodle. Bring Him Back. My next door neighbor visited a few rescues because she is looking for a boarder collie. We saw boxer/lab puppies there that were brought in from Tenn. they were 8 weeks old. The people were going to have them put down. WHY ARE MIXED BREED OWNERS ALLOWED TO HAVE PUPPIES AT ALL IF THEIR DOGS ARE LIMITED REGISTRATION WITH AKC?
I noticed online once that a pitbull breeder posted that she needed to sell the last 2 puppies or she would have to take them to the pound!!! WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THAT? PEOPLE BE RESPONSIBLE!!!!! Do not breed your pets if you your self cannot take care of them.!
I have 3 dogs in my home and I love them. I love my grandpups and would care for them in a heart beat.
We have Standard Poodles with AKC Unlimited registration and I am very responsible…. Why Not support that too? What is going to happen when everyone starts taking their pets to a shelter in hopes that the Obama Family buys their dog? The shelters are already over booked.
STOP THE MIX BREEDING OF DOGS!
We support a Great cause and that is Standard Poodles working with the Blind… Is that not good enough?
