The Blue Heeler dog, also known as the Queensland Heeler, Red Heeler and Australian Cattle dog is a type of herding dog cultivated for herding in Australia. By combining native Dingoes and Collies with additional herding dogs, Australian George Elliott created this breed in 1840. Because of the breed’s sturdiness and work ethic, the Blue Heeler breed is respected by Australian cattleman and ranchers. This breed of dogs quickly became popular as cattle herders.

The weight of the Blue Heelers ranges from 30-35 pounds and the height is 17-20 inches. This breed can be red speckle or blue merle. The blue merle color is blue mottle or straight blue with or without tan, black or blue markings on the head with tan. The Blue Heeler’s coat is short and only needs occasionally brushing and is waterproof.

The Min Pin, also known as the Miniature Pinscher by fans, is in the group of toy breeds. The Miniature Pinscher’s other name given to it is the “King of the Toy Dogs”. Although the Miniature Pinscher is one of the oldest of the terrier breeds, it is judged as a toy breed. The Min Pin is an older breed than the Doberman and is not connected to it. This breed expanded in Germany from terrier breeds and includes the German Pinscher. In order to generate a small, high stepping dog, Italian greyhound blood might have been added. In German, the word “Pinscher” is identified as “terrier”.

The Arctic Husky is also known as the Siberian husky. Huskies are medium sized, strong, graceful members of the Working Group with a distinctive appearance like a wolf. Siberian Huskies are gentle and lighthearted dogs, but are capable of being stubborn and naughty. This cheerful dog is very loving of their human family. They are great will people they don’t know and also children but, since they very seldom bark, they are not very good guard dogs. This breed is very smart and responds well to training. Husky dog training must start at a very early stage such when they are a puppy.
